Fan Comments

1995

Re knowing an original universe from a "poached" [1]one. It has happened to me that I didn't. There are fragments of fan stories written in the Borderlands universe (a shared universe generally overseen by Terri Windling & Will Shetterly, I think). But I had never read it, never heard of it, and I read my fan characters placed in what (for all I knew) was just a cool A/U. I later saw one of the books (and it was interesting enough for me to pick up) and I saw that what I had been giving the author credit for was actually lifted from the books.
