The Books of Magic was a comic book series created by Neil Gaiman and published by DC/Vertigo. It starred Tim Hunter, a bespectacled magical British schoolboy with a pet owl (and a number of other things in common with Harry Potter, though released much earlier). The series contains guest appearances by fan favorites Death and John Constantine.
Fandom
While the ongoing series was being published there was a small fan community, including several fan sites, annotation sites, a forum, and the occasional piece of fanfiction and fanart.
Stories in this fandom are regularly requested for Yuletide.
