Bloodline | The Magnus Archives Animatic is a fan animatic themed around the legacy and the chain of command of The Magnus Institute, and the relationship between the three - Jon Sims, the current Archivist, Gertrude Robinson, the previous Head Archivist, and Elias Buchard their leader and antagonist. It also covers Jon's warm relationships with his friends and coworkers. The lyrics of the song "Bloodline" talk about inheritance, and the drawings used to illustrate it use tense scenes from The Magnus Archives to highlight Jon's fears about filling Gertrude's shoes, both in terms of danger (Gertrude is no longer in the position because she was murdered because of it, and Jon knows it) and his fears about The Institute's (and Gertrude Robinson's) habit of using and hurting people and that he may continue that.
