Blaidd, also known as Blaidd the Half-Wolf, is a character in Elden Ring. He is also known as Ranni's Shadow.
Canon
Blaidd is a half-wolf, half-human swordsman, a vassal of Princess Ranni. He was given to Ranni as a shadow when the Two Fingers (envoys of the Greater Will, an outer god) chose her as an Empyrean (a candidate vassal god) when they were both young. Shadows are intended to serve as guardians of their Empyreans, but also enforcers should they rebel against the Greater Will. However, Ranni and Blaidd formed a very close bond, with Iji calling them "stepsiblings" and stating they "played like siblings from childhood." When Ranni killed her mortal body – thus freeing herself of her Empyrean fate – Blaidd and Iji remained loyal to her.
