Bitterchick is a prolific and influential popslash writer whose stories have since been removed from the internet. A particular fan of JC Chasez, most of her stories paired him with either Justin Timberlake or Chris Kirkpatrick.
Her stories were housed on her personal website, Divahips.com. The term "Diva Hips" was intended as a commentary on JC Chasez's energetic style of dancing. Notable stories included The Coming Out Fic (a multi-part series), The Venice Beach AU (called that by fans because the series had no formal title), Alberta (her contribution to the Slash Across America challenge), The Other Half (a funny and widely recced bodyswap fic) and It's a Wonderful Lance.
She announced that she would take down Divahips.com at the end of September 2005 and offered a zip file of the whole website for fans to download ahead of time.[1]
Bitterchick's stories are still in circulation within some fannish circles.
