Bayfilk was a science fiction and filk convention. It was held in the Bay Area of California in the 1980s.
The con ceased due to side-effects of the tensions in the Off Centaur/Firebird dispute. Following disputes among the partners, Off Centaur was dissolved in 1987. Some of the partners formed a new company, Firebird Arts and Music, Inc..
"Bayfilk" was replaced by Consonance.
The Bayfilk Songbook was published for the first three conventions.

March 5-7, 1982 was held in Oakland, CA.
It was also numbered FilkCon 4.1. Margaret Middleton was Guest of Honor.
It produced a Bayfilk Songbook.
