Some Excerpts
I love both of the boys equally and consider myself to be completely bi-partner. I know a lot of fans, probably most, have a favorite. How does a girl chose? I also adore Huggy and Captain Dobey.
I wrote my first story as a senior in high school in 1977 for my final project in English. Oddly, the plot was so similar to 'Sweet Revenge', my teacher thought I'd sold it as an episode for years. I wish I still had it! Maybe it will turn up in a box someday. My inspiration was my love for the show. I am also an avid Star Trek fan, but I've never written fic for that fandom.
I can't write a story where either of the boys has a relationship with a particular woman. My partner and I both seem to think that OFCs are best for making trouble, killing off, or as ancillary personnel. I like action plots, but wouldn't be able to get my creative inspiration going on a love story. I like a good murder mystery, kidnapping, or serial crime.
Valerie and I beta for each other. God love my partner. LOL. She is long-suffering. After our stories have been through a whole-story edit by each of us, they go to one of a few angels who help us polish them. Having a beta/editor helps in many ways, including revealing ruts or patterns, spotting plot holes, and catching missed errors.
