Some Excerpts
From the get go! I fell hard. Hook line and sinker from the first time the pilot episode aired. And from that day on, missing an S*H episode, was like missing your right arm, and your left arm, and maybe even an eye. LOL.
My favorite episode is "Shootout". Why? It's like watching the greatest love story of all time. The care. The tenderness. Such feeling for one another. Love comes in many forms, and watching it in action triggers something deep inside.
Although it brings about many great stories, "Starsky Vs. Hutch" is very painful for me to watch and I really have a hard time understanding it. I feel like the kid in the back of the class room raising her hand high and saying. "I don't get it!" When they tangle with each other in Kira's apartment, I physically cringe.
I love to do stories where the guys are out camping with Mother Nature best. Or just generally getting into trouble and rescuing each other. I like action. Banter. And lots of feeling.
Death stories are very strange and peculiar creatures. I don't intentionally intend on writing them. They don't come to me often, but when they do, they come hard and fast, and from some place deep. Its almost like I have no control over them. I have often tried to place Hutch in the story as the one who passes away, and it has not happened yet. I really can't explain it. Maybe in my minds eye he is the 'White Knight' hero. And hero's never die. Cliche. I hope the muse will allow a death story for Hutch one day. I think she will in time.
