Battlestar Galactica RPF for the 2003 series started appearing late in 2005.[1] The fandom was closely related to the fanfiction community for the show and had few ties to other RPF fandoms. It was a small and not very active fandom, but stories do still appear in multifandom challenges like Yuletide[2] and Pretty Lights[3] and in various porn battles.
