The Batsupes Secret Valentines Exchange was founded in 2020 and the first posts began in February 2021. It was started by the Batsupes Community Discord moderators and information on it can be found on the Batsupes Secret Valentines tumblr blog.
The first year saw eight different participants during the prompt stage, and then eleven different participants creating fanworks during the claiming process. The minimum word count for fics was 3000. For pinch-hitters they only needed to write half that.
