Barbara Drake was a fan writer whose work appeared in fanzines. In 2009 she was the winner of the Fan Fund and attended MediaWest. She passed in 2012.
Memories
"Barbara Drake aka Leanna Skywalker passed away on September 19th 2012, 5am due to heart failure and other proceeding health complications. She wasn't in any pain, and she was surrounded by her loving friends and family. She was cremated and, considering her love of Star Wars, I especially thought going out the "Jedi" way was very appropriate. She absolutely loved adored going to MediaWest*Con even though I think she missed a few in recent years due to health."[1]
