Dr. Ayda Mensah is a major character in The Murderbot Diaries.
Canon
In the first book, All Systems Red, she is the leader of the PreservationAux planetary survey team. She also appears as a major character in the fourth book, Exit Strategy, the fifth book Network Effect, and the sixth book Fugitive Telemetry.
She is the narrator of the short story Home: Habitat, Range Niche, Territory.

- Dr. Mensah is jacked: headcanon that arose in the The Murderbot Diaries 2.0 discord server in February 2021 and gained popularity throughout the fandom. Has lead to humorous fanworks making a joke of overexaggerating her physique and a number of serious fanworks (particularly fanart) drawing her with a more muscular build.
