Reactions and Reviews
1989
This story was almost poetic it its effective painting of a picture of Spock waiting by the window for Kirk to come home. The rose bush blowing in the wind, Spock's thoughts of mortality and memories of his parents all form a portrait both poignant and wistful. Very gentle and sensitive. [1]
Very nice piece. It drew me right in. I liked the intensity, and the loving atmosphere. [2]
