inspired by fanfic100 and crossovers100 we introduce the wonderful world of au100. Can't make icons but love that nice round 100? Then write 100 Alternate Universes! (Or one of the other comms too. We highly encourage that :-)
It works like this.
Step One: Read The FAQ - I can't stress that one enough. Before you do anything. Read the FAQ. It will save you and me both a whole lot of headaches.
Step Two: Claim your character, pairing or fandom, here
Step Three: Write one hundred alternate universe stories centered around the claim you've chosen. Older fic you've already written is permitted but, really, we're looking for the new stuff. (Continuations of prior AUs would count as 'new') Stories should start at 100 words but we won't restrict length beyond that. anything over 200 words please put behind a cut tag.
You don't have to post them all at once. Go at your own pace. Put the exact fandom claim somewhere in the titlebar. Include fandom and pairing(or character). You don't have to write 100 seperate and distinct AUs. You can do a few stories in a single AU but, please, don't do all 100 in the same one. It'd defeat the purpose *G*
