Atlanta Starbase was a media science fiction con.
There was one that took place November 14–16, 1987 at the Atlanta Marriott Gwinnett Place Hotel. It is unknown if there were others.
Guests of Honor were Jonathan Harris (Lost in Space), Richard Hatch (Battlestar Galactica), Kerry O'Quinn (publisher of Starlog), and Doug Chafee ("artist and noted NASA illustrator").
There were films, video, a dealer's room, gaming, and a costume contest.
