At the Edge of the Universe is a het anthology of Star Trek: Voyager fiction by Marianne Barron. The editor was Pat Hayden. None of the issues contains interior illustrations.

  • After Voyager returned to the Alpha Quadrant, all the crew's children have grown and started careers of their own...plus their own families...and the pairings are surprising. At the Edge of the Universe 5 was published in 1999 contains 122 pages.

  • Janeway and Chakotay find the Delta Quadrant full of dangers and love in "Trust," "The Long Road Home," "Commitment," "Times and Seasons," and "Together," they find that loneliness and despair can cause some strange pairings that may be hard to explain later. At the Edge of the Universe 11 contains 100 pages.

  • In "Pips," Voyager returns home and we find out what happens to the crew, plus Seska and her son who is also Chakotay's son. Life in the Academy can be hard but, if you're the son of Seska and Chakotay, life can be dangerous in Cardies. Cover by Sophia Kelly Shultz.


Issue 12

At the Edge of the Universe 12 contains 92 pages.

  • Janeway and Chakotay learn that life isn't always easy, even if you are in love in: "The Crazy Gene" (Boothby helps Kathryn and Chakotay, "Ancestor's Eve" (Kathryn learns a valuable lesson), (Chakotay's and Kathyrn's thoughts) "Soliloquies," and "Habitat" (Chakotay's lost and Janeway must find him).
