Assassin's Creed Valhalla is the twelfth installment in the video game series Assassin's Creed. The main character is Eivor and the modern-day protagonist is Layla Hassan.

Since Ubisoft did not give Eivor a canonical gender, Assassin_J spent some time tracking what gender fans assigned to Eivor in their AO3 works. As the graph shows, creators of fanworks on AO3 did not show a clear bias for male vs female Eivor. Additionally, nonbinary or genderfluid interpretations of Eivor in the works surveyed were rare, but not nonexistent.
