Some Excerpts
For years I was only using traditional media, mostly pencils and pens. I was attending professional drawing lessons when I was trying to get to my Uni. Then, as a first/second-year you weren’t really allowed to use digital media, although back then I already had a tablet and was learning how to use it. Today I work mostly in Photoshop because it allows you to move in many more artistic directions than just drawing. It feels a bit more like creating a picture. But you should never compare traditional and digital media - to me, they represent different skills and different creative processes.
...basically, what I try to show in my art is what they represent to me. For example, whether you're into Wincest or not, we all know how deeply Sam and Dean love each other. And that love, that devotion and loyalty is something that overwhelms me about Supernatural; it's something that made me their fan for life, even if I might have something against some plot turns ;) Because that doesn't matter - what Sam and Dean are to me will never change. So those are the kind of feelings that bring me ideas, you know? That's why they're usually sweet and peaceful and schmoopy - because what SPN gives me is very positive, so I try to give some of it back to our poor, tortured boys ;)
