I've been cosplaying for a couple of years now, though I'm severely limited by my inability to sew. I've recently cosplayed 10th Doctor from Doctor Who, as well as Hakkai from Saiyuki and Link from Zelda. I only within the last 2 months got back into Supernatural, and I look enough like Sam, so decided to give it a shot. I'm a very picky cosplayer, if I don't look like the character, I don't even try it, no matter how much I love them. I see this as a way to respect the character and what they stand for. Personality-wise I'm much more like Dean, and in fact when me and Jaired RP Supernatural, I play Dean because...well...it's like a stroll around my own head. So, that's me and my cosplay history in a nutshell.

I have cosplayed since about middle school. Starting with Anime and Gaming characters like Roxas from Kingdom hearts 2, Cloud from final fantasy, and few random anime characters. I have the same philosophy as Elijah about cosplay: I have to be able to be a decent replica of the character to do it justice. I'm a perfectionist about it @_@. Supernatural wise, i started out as a Dean cosplayer for an anime convention I went to with a friend, she was going to be Sam. Nobody knew who we were except us and a few of our other friends who were there lol!

I turned Sam cosplayer after that because my hair was getting longer and my personality is more like his. That just led down the path of getting the black out demon eye contacts and then the past Halloween being beat!up Sam...then the Ruby and Sam duplicating scenes with my sister. Then I saw Elijah post pictures of his Sam on his facebook and I knew that I would have to retire my Sam stuff. He looked so much more like him! LOL

After I had confronted him about his Sam-awesomeness he informed me that I made a pretty decent Dean. Me and 'Lijah always joke that if we switched brains it would be perfect haha because he is more like Dean personality-wise (but looks like Sam) and I am more like Sam (But look like Dean) haha! And that my friends is my some what brief cosplay history.
