In Bram Stoker's 1897 novel Dracula, three characters (Arthur Holmwood, Quincey Morris, and Jack Seward) court Lucy Wenstenra. The fandom makes content focussed on the three of them together and often calls this relationship The Suitor Squad. This name is used for both interpreting the group as an M/M/M ship and as a gen relationship.

Canon

All three seek Lucy's hand in marriage and seem to be friends. They remain friends when Lucy chooses Arthur Holmwood. They work together to investigate Lucy's mysterious illness (i.e. being preyed on by Dracula), consulting Abraham Van Helsing for help and even offering their own blood for a transfusion. When Lucy dies, they continue to work with Van Helsing and The Harkers

Fandom

Tropes:

  • backstories for how they all know each other
  • shenanigans they get up to while competing for Lucy's hand/consoling each other while waiting for her decision/after her decision
  • post-canon adventures as expert vampire hunters??? particularly in AUs where Quincey survives
  • more???
Lucy's three weed smoking boyfriends[1]

Ah, yes. Weird scientist, cowboy, and golden retriever.
