Apparitions is a television series starring Martin Shaw as Father Jacob Myers, a Catholic priest. Father Jacob's position is to examine miracles relating to the canonisation of saints. After protesting the idea of becoming the Church's Chief Exorcist, his encounters with Satan make him realise that performing exorcisms is a necessary part of his duties.
The series originally ran on the BBC from 13 November 2008 to 18 December 2008, for a total of six episodes.
