From Restless Innocence:
I started my first website in early 1999 when I signed up with Earthlink. Along with the ISP service, they gave out a whopping 6MB of webspace so my brother and I decided to start a personal website (which is thankfully nonexistent today... so frightening). It started as a click 'n build site, but began to learn HTML as my brother lost interest.
After a while, I decided to start a Buffy website since I loved the show so much, and Much Ado About Buffy the Vampire Slayer was born. The site was pretty pathetic in terms of content and the graphics were either nonexistent or extremely lame, but I worked hard and managed to build up the site and started learning how to create graphics using good old Paint Shop Pro. Though my graphics were pretty terrible, I was happy with them and I became more confident about the site.
I continued developing my skills, and getting better as the software improved (yay Photoshop!) and kept opening new websites and new fanlistings. Working part-time definitely gave me a lot of free time to work on websites but once I started working full-time my interest and free time dropped. I don't work on websites much now, other than to just update the remaining fanlistings and I have, but I'd like to keep my websites up as long as I can, even if they're not changing much. It's a fun part of my history that I definitely don't want to lose... at least not yet. [1]
Yahoo Group
Among various websites, she ran an announcement Yahoo Group opened on January 14, 2000 for her Buffy and Angel websites. It had 4,830 members at the time it was abandoned in March 2007.

Hello everyone!!
Oooh. Very first update e-mail. Quite thrilling, isn't it? (Umm . . . maybe not that thrilling) Anyways, onto the updates.
I added the quotes for "The I in Team" and "Goodbye Iowa." I also found sources to do the quotes for "Fear, Itself" and "Beer Bad," but I'm going to wait on those until I get the time.
The quiz for "I've Got You Under My Skin" is finally up at Flights of Angel. I was really slow about the quizzes last week and this week, but I'll try to get tomorrow's episodes up by Wednesday evening.
According to http://clicktv.com, David Boreanaz will be on NBC's Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Monday, February 28th. You can check clicktv.com for local times.
Just a bit of news to report that I'm not going to put up on the website quite yet (don't you all feel special?) . . . http://www.episodeII.com (a Star Wars Ep. 2 site) is reporting that our very own Nick Brendon is auditioning for the role of Anakin Skywalker. Be aware that this is just a rumor, but I thought it was interesting nonetheless. Here's what it says:
"I just spoke with Nicholas Brendan, Xander of WB's Buffy the Vampire Slayer, yesterday. He said in all seriousness (and I have no reason to doubt his veracity) that he was on his way to a meeting (with presumably Lucasfilm) to discuss playing the role of Anakin. He seemed nervous and excited. When he revealed this to me, it was like a revelation -- I could totally see him in the part. Instead of getting a pretty boy like Schroeder, Van der Beek, or (gads) Dicaprio, they need someone with a little more edge. Someone who can be heroic and yet sardonic."
I set up a poll with Onelist for everyone to take (go here to answer it: http://www.onelist.com/polls/MuchAdoAboutBuffy). This week's question is "What is your favorite episode from Season 4 of Buffy?"
Well, that's about it for tonight, so have a lovely day tomorrow and don't forget (like you could!!) to watch Buffy and Angel tomorrow evening. The episodes are "This Year's Girl" and "The Prodigal."

Happy 10th Anniversary, Buffy the Vampire Slayer!
That's right... today was the 10th anniversary of the first airing of BtVS. Pretty nifty, eh? I've set up a little "memories" book for anyone who'd like to share their thoughts on this spectacular show & what it's meant to them, so please feel free to use the button at the bottom of Much Ado's main page to sign the book or read what everyone else has to say.
And I know it's been a long, long time and I've again been neglecting updates, but life is busy. Please know that I'm still devoted to this site though, and to all of you. Updates may not be frequent, but the site will continue to be here and I will update when I can. And I always welcome contributions, so if there's anything you'd like to share or help with, just say the word.
In any case though, I do have actual updates for today! I've started working on the quizzes for Season 3 (I know... finally!) so Anne, Dead Man's Party, Faith, Hope & Trick, and Beauty & the Beasts are now up. I also redid the quotes for those four episodes, as well as Homecoming.
And before I have to sign off, I'd like to say thank you to everyone who continues to visit and support this site! I've had a wonderful time running it and I hope to continue to do so for many years to come."
