Andi Mack is a Disney Channel show that ran from 2017 to 2019. It is well-known for its groundbreaking storylines, such as teen pregnancy, coming out, learning disabilities, military families and mental health issues.

Fandom

It is the first series on Disney Channel to feature a gay main character, Cyrus Goodman, which received a lot of attention both by fans and the media.[1] Many praised the decision, however despite this the series was eventually cancelled after three seasons.[2] Fans started petitions tagged #SaveAndiMack on Twitter and Instagram ([1], [2], [3]).[3]
