All Hallows Eve is a gen 48-page Real Ghostbusters novel by Jeff Morris. It is the sequel to Perfect World.
The author thanks a number of fans by name, as well as having "a great deal of support and encouragement from the GEnie Fanfic Contingent (SFRT3, CATs 18-19...)"
From the Editorial
Three's the charm ... ALL HALLOWS EVE was the result of (or the fault of, take your pick) the proofreaders for PERFECT WORLD. They quite rightly pointed out to me that I'd left a huge, gaping plot hole in the story that needed to be resolved, and so I decided to write yet another RGB novella, giving myself the additional challenge of telling everyone what was going to happen in the first chapter. Mind you, I had no idea where the plot was going from there, but as a firm believer in the Indiana Jones Philosophy of Writing (make it up as you go), I had faith that something would come along...As always, this story is based on the characters of THE REAL GHOSTBUSTERS, the animated series that is currently being butchered on the USA cable network. Slimer and Louis Tully are nowhere to be found in here, though, and Janine is the feisty, smart-mouthed redhead of the first season and the syndicated episodes, not the wuss of later years. In addition, this take on the show is a bit more adult than you may be used to .... but not too adult. For example, in the second draft I dropped the scenes with Janine lying around naked... -
Dr. Sheila Brown is an original character who has popped up in the other two novellas I've written. Dana Barrett never appeared on the animated series, but I liked the character and LOVED Sigourney Weaver, so she's here once again.
This novella is a milestone of sorts, in that it was the last major work I wrote using my battered old Smith-Corona PWP word processor. After five years of hard work, it's being replaced by a 486 computer with Word Perfect (which is what I'm using to do the final draft of the story). AHE is also the last RGB novella I'm planning on writing. I've pretty much told all the stories I want to tell, and I'm getting out of the zine publishing biz, so this is the final publication of Bandersnatch Press. I intend to keep writing in a number of genres, RGB included, so this isn't farewell to anything but my Kinko's bills!
