The Al Bhed are a fictional race in the world of Final Fantasy X and X-2.
Scorned by the major religion of Yevon, Al Bhed have adapted to a life of hardship, having learned to live nomadically, and often settling in unforgiving places like the desert.
Having been forced to survive on the bare minimum, Al Bhed are often skilled mechanics, able to construct and take apart machines with little effort. Hardy, resourceful, and quick-witted, the Al Bhed make loyal friends and deadly enemies.
The Al Bhed language
Al Bhed people have their own language, which can be best described as a letter swap of English. With exactly the same grammar and syntax rules, Al Bhed is an easy one to learn as long as your memory is solid.

Fandom
There isn't much call for a fandom about Al Bhed, but it is occasionally used as a plot device, for example where one character tries to teach another the language, or the character needs to use the language in order to solve a problem.
