Ahmad is a het 200-page novel by Linda C. Wood. Sue Toher is the artist. It required an age statement.

Summary

From the author: "It is historical fiction on the turbulent life of Ahmad Fanakati, Leonard's character from the Marco Polo TV mini-series...The chapters throughout this narrative relate to true historical occurrences during the period of Ahmad Fanakati's life and are my interpretation of how Ahmad must have been involved in the making of history. As can be seen from my list of true historical characters, most of the people mentioned throughout the narrative really did exist and my story relates how their lives could have been connected with that of Ahmad."

Reactions and Reviews

Linda has researched her subject thoroughly and has produced a remarkably sympathetic portrayal of a man who to all outward appearances was power-hungry and ruthless. The story moves well and the reader gets something of the flavour of what it must have been like living in those days. Definitely recommended.[1]
