Abbie Mills/Ichabod Crane also known as Ichabbie is a het relationship from the Supernatural/Fantasy television show Sleepy Hollow.
Canon
An agent working for George Washington in 1781, Ichabod dies in a battle against supernatural forces only to awaken in 2013. Abbie, a police lieutenant who meets him after his arrest, is the only person who initially believes Ichabod's stories.They work together to prevent the apocalypse.
Ichabod and Abbie are the central characters for the first three seasons of the show, and their growing friendship gets a great deal of focus.
At the end of the show's third season, Abbie dies; actor Nicole Beharie later revealed that she chose to leave the show after feeling that she and other actors of color were consistently sidelined, and that showrunners were unwilling to accommodate her medical issues. Popularity considerably dropped off in season 4 after Beharie's departure, leading to cancellation.
Fandom
Ichabbie is by far the most popular pairing in Sleepy Hollow fandom. This is unusual, as fandoms typically give less attention to interracial ships (particularly those between white men and black women), and reflects Abbie's popularity as a character.
