Reactions and Reviews
A short, three-page story. Kirk and McCoy are sitting at a bar getting drunk together, with McCoy lapsing into his good ol' boy routine as Kirk grouses about having, well, difficulties in his love life. McCoy practically draws him a picture, which Kirk is way too dense to figure out, that his problem is that he wants a certain Vulcan. Finally, McCoy manages to maneuver Kirk into beaming back to the ship to ask Spock to go camping. The story ends there. It's a cute story but it doesn't work well for me. Kirk couldn't be any more dense and that's not at all how I see the man.[1]
