A Serpent's Tooth is a het 74-page SeaQuest novel by Jane Woods.

Commander Ford is kidnapped by The Marauder and Captain Stark and forced to help them take over the seaQuest. He has been brainwashed and his actions are monitored. He cannot warn Bridger of the attack which he has rendered the boat helpless against. He can just watch in horror as Stark condemns Ortiz to a firing squad. O'Neill exhibits a bravery he never knew he had to try and save his friends life. Bridger must put his faith in the youngest, most inexperienced members of the crew to save them after the seaQuest falls to the intruders. To make matters worse he has fallen in love with one of the conspirators... Heterosexual situations strongly suggested but not graphically depicted.
