50 First Hamburger Dates was a fanfiction writing challenge concentrating on the Once Upon a Time pairing of Belle/Rumplestiltskin. The concept was as follows:
YOUR PROMT: Rum and Belle are interrupted (again!) trying to have their Hamburger Date.Any location or time is permissible, but your fic must be centered on the following:
A hamburger (or variation there of… cheese, no cheese, bacon, pickles, etc), AN INTERRUPTION, and the promise of another date.
Remember, this should be a loosely connected series of unfortunately interrupted dates so each date should lead to the possibility of the next and we should try, in general, to not contradict one another. Also, the original idea was that the dates keep being interrupted at Granny’s, so the more creative we can get with that, the better![1]
The challenge was inspired by a canon event in which Belle and Rumplestiltskin are interrupted during a date. The challenge produced 47 stories by 47 contributing authors.
