The 2021 Organization for Transformative Works Board of Directors election took place between June 20 and August 16, 2021.
On June 20, 2021, the candidates for the 2021 OTW Board Election were publicly announced. Four candidates, none of whom had previously served on the Board, contested two available seats. In alphabetical order by given name, the candidates were:
On August 17, 2021, the Elections Committee announced the 2021 Elections Results. E. Anna Szegedi and Kari Dayton (in alphabetical order) were successfully elected to the Board of Directors and began their terms on October 1, 2021. In addition, Antonius Melisse, the third place candidate, was appointed to fill the seat vacated by Kati Eggert for the remainder of her term (two years) when she stepped down for personal reasons on August 17, 2021.[2]

Candidates' Platforms
Members of the public were able to submit questions for the candidates via the Elections Committee and in four candidate chats involving the four candidates. The four candidates responded to three batches of Q&As. [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] [10]
Election Statistics
The 2021 Election had a total of 11231 eligible voters, of whom 2305 cast a ballot, representing 20.5% of potential voters. The number of ballots cast decreased from 2858 voters in 2020, and the percentage of potential voters voting decreased from 21.4% in 2020.[11]
