Zhang Qiling/Wu_Xie, also known by the portmanteau PingXie (abbreviated as PX), is the non-canonical relationship between Zhang Qiling and Wu Xie, the two main character of the Chinese novel series of grave-robbing adventures Daomu Biji (盗墓笔记). The ship name from Chinese Fandom is PingXie, with Ping (瓶=bottle. This comes from WuXie's nickname for ZhangQiling "闷油瓶", which is literally translated as "dumb oil bottle" and means a silent guy with a poker face) referring to ZhangQiling. This pairing's popularity skyrockted around 2010 as microblogging sites became popular in China.
As of February 2024, Zhang Qiling/Wu_Xie is the most popular pairing in Daomu Biji fandom and one of the most well-known pairings in Chinese fandom since 2010s.[citation needed]
