Z-Team is a notable vidder. They are known specifically for the inclusion of one of their vids in the Escapade Vid Show Retrospective 1992-2001, organized by Kandy Fong. Their work also appeared at other fan run conventions, such as Kiscon.

Some fans have thought that "The Z-Team" may have been part of California Crew. Others have said that they "may have been done by man who worked at a TV station as the editor so all his work was done as Z Nation."[1]

Z-Team's 1992 multifandom vid, which appeared in the Escapade Vid Show Retrospective, included the song 'I Think I'm a Clone Now' by Weird Al Yankovic. It compared and contrasted Star Trek:TOS with Star Trek:TNG. The vid has also been attributed to Gina Martin of California Crew. A similarly titled multifandom vid has been attributed to Mary Van Deusen and was shown at the 2006 Vividcon "Novelty Songs and TV Themes…on a plane!" vid show.

Other vids include:

  • "Neutron Dance" - Raiders of the Lost Ark
  • "The Empire Strikes Quack" - Star Wars. A similarly titled Star Wars vid was made in the late 1980s by Daren Dochterman and Chuck Michael. The editor Daren swrite: "There has been another project out on the web called "The Empire Strikes Quack" doing the same thing... using the Duck Dodgers cartoon as a soundtrack for the Star Wars clips... and it's pretty funny... but it was made in 1991... years after ours had been featured in a story in the May, 1988 issue of Starlog."[2]
  • "Star Trekin' " - Star Trek (a similarly titled Star Trek vid was also attributed to the Jersey Trek vidding group.
