"Yield to the Night "[1] by trueriver is a short story based on Mary Renault's The Last of the Wine. It was originally written as a Yuletide 2008 gift to Eyebrow of Doom, and subsequently crossposted to maryrenaultfics. It fills in ‘what happened next’ in the evening after the boarhunt, providing images of the physical consummation of their love.
