Yet Another Toku Holiday Special is a yearly Gift Exchange focused on fanworks for Various Tokusatsu series. (Kamen Rider, Ultraman, Super Sentai, Garo, Power Rangers, etc.) The first exchange was announced on October 16, 2016[1] on the event's Tumblr.
"This is a Tokusatasu-themed fanwork exchange. Writers will be asked to create a story of at least 1000 words based on one of the prompts they receive; artists will be asked to create one completed piece of art based on one of the prompts they receive. All participants will receive a story or artwork based on prompts that they submit in return. Stories and art will be anonymous when posted, and the authors will be revealed on a set day." - From the FAQ[2]
It takes place every Holiday season, sign ups beginning in October-November and the works becoming available to view on December 25th, with authors and artists being anonymous until reveals one week later. It is an AO3 Exchange and has a dedicated collection on AO3 as well as it's own Tumblr page. It has run yearly since 2016 and is run by EstelRaca, 1001paperboxes, and malachibi.
Another Tokusatsu Summer V-Cinema
There was also a summer exchange called Another Tokusatsu Summer V-Cinema that took place in 2018 alongside the usual yearly holiday exchange that same year. This event was announced on July 12th 2018[3], sign ups were open at that time until July 23rd 2018. Reveals for this happened on September 3rd 2018[4]. Another Tokusatsu Summer V-Cinema was a one-off event and has not reoccurred since.
