Wright Anything Agency is a free digital, multifandom zine themed after the Ace Attorney games.
About
The zine's interest check was announced on November 1, 2022, as a zine about interests outside of Ace Attorney that the contributors are a fan of[1]. The description is as follows:
The Wright Anything Agency Zine will be a SFW, PG-13 zine accepting contributors 15 and up. Content will be primarily focused on non-Ace Attorney content that contributors are a fan of. The zine accepts:
- Larger pieces with Ace Attorney content hidden (a sort of Where’s Waldo or I Spy)
- Non-Ace Attorney characters acting like or dressed as Ace Attorney Characters
- Ace Attorney Characters Interacting with non-Ace Attorney Characters
- Non-Ace Attorney Content with subtle Ace Attorney references
Not all non-Ace Attorney properties have to be fandoms. If your interest is typography or boats or Romantic poetry etc., feel free to include it. If you are unsure how you would include the piece you are envisioning into the zine, feel free to reach out to the mod(s) to talk it over with them.
While the WAAZ will be free submission, there will be some moderation. If a piece includes bigotry, pedophilia, incest, extreame gore, NSFW content, graphic depiction of death, etc., it will not be included in the zine. If you have questions about whether or not your piece is in violation of these requirements, feel free to reach out to the mod(s) to check.[2]
Interest checks closed on November 18, 2022, with an estimated count of 200 responses[3]. Mod applications opened on November 19, 2022, and closed on December 9, 2022[4][5]. Contributor applications for writers, page artists, and merch artists opened on December 10, 2022, and closed on March 11, 2023[6][7].
The zine was released on July 5, 2023, as a download from a Google Drive folder with a PDF copy of the zine and additional digital merch such as a coloring page and an emoji[8].
