Wonderful Pretty Cure began in 2024 and is the nineteenth generation of Precure. This season is notable for having the first non-human lead Cure, Komugi being a dog who becomes a teenage girl. Its motifs are animals and bonds.
Canon
Plot Summary
After Niko Garden is attacked its animal inhabitants are corrupted and turned into eggs. When walking the dog Komugi, Iroha encounters one of these eggs, which hatches into a Garugaru. Fueled by her wish to protect Iroha, Komugi transforms into a human Precure. Together with Iroha and the other Precure, they work to save Niko Garden and purify the Garugaru.
