Wolf 359 is Star Trek: TNG zine by Rory Johnston, published by Infinite Frontiers. It was first published as a print zine, then as an e-zine with new art.

It gives an alternative insight to what might have happened to the Borg after ”The Best Of Both Worlds."

The title of the zine: Wolf 359 is a red dwarf star that is located in the constellation Leo. It was also the scene of a fictional space battle in the Star Trek universe between the United Federation of Planets and the Borg Collective in the year 2367. The aftermath is depicted in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "The Best of Both Worlds, Part II" and the battle in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine pilot, "Emissary."

From the E-Zine's Editorial

In this story, we see Picard's struggle against his continuing nightmares after his kidnapping by the Borg. He is then given the opportunity to change history, eliminating the Borg's assault at Wolf 359, with catastrophic consequences...

While this is a relatively short story, it manages to cover a lot of ground and while the focus is on Picard and Star Trek: The Next Generation, there are also links to both the Original Series and Deep Space Nine.

The story was written some time ago before the events seen in Descent and Star Trek: First Contact, and before Star Trek: Voyager entered production, and as such many of the things we have since learned about the Borg do not quite fit in with this story. However, it's still an enjoyable piece of fiction and is quite an interesting and alternative look at the origin of the Federation's most feared adversary.

This zine was first published back in 1997 as an A5 paper fanzine. Now, we have brought this title up to date as a fully illustrated, full colour PDF file for you to enjoy. [1]
