Reactions and Reviews
Three stories by Cavanaugh, a beginning writer. In the first, an alternate to the end of “Though Lovers Be Lost,” V arrives in time to rescue C and deliver his son, Jacob Devin (“J.D.”).
The second story spins off the end of the Trilogy, with V waking, a la Rip Van Winkle, after three years, at which point Jacob is 2½ and V tries to adapt to discovering he has a son.
In the third, a SND 4th season story, C's spirit returns to reanimate the body of Terri, a tunnel dweller who's died of a seizure. Diana appears briefly.[1]
This zine contains 3 stories.
The first rewrites 'TLBL' so that Vincent rescues Catherine as she's giving birth in Gabriel's medical lab.
In the second one, Vincent awakes from a three-year coma to discover he and Catherine have a son.
The last story deals with Catherine's return to the Tunnels, six years after the events of 3rd season. Buyers should be aware that, although 'friends,' Vincent and Diana are sexually involved and Catherine (using an alias) spends much of her time trying to marry them off. Ultimately, Vincent and Catherine are reunited and await the birth of a second child. Nice color cover by Lisa Stubblefield. [2]
