Discussion of Sequels
"Wednesday Morning" as a Sequel
M.Fae's "Wednesday Morning" is utterly depressing. Sorry. I'm afraid her editor has a sadistic habit of ending zines like that. I have an even more depressing theory. M. Fae generally refuses to sequels, so I knew better than to ask her for the sequel (or paraquel; or anything) to "Step We Gaily".... Anyway, my theory is that "Wednesday Morning" is a sequel to "Step We Gaily"... Cowley woke up the next day and decided to do the sensible thing ~ he sent Bodie off to join the Foreign
Legion. [1]
Other Fan's Sequels to "Wednesday Morning"
Yet Another Wednesday Morning by Castalia ("A sequel to M. Fae Glasgow's "Wednesday Morning" in ...As Three £3 Notes, offering an alternative ending to the original story. Doyle is still trapped in the web of his feelings, after Bodie's sudden departure for the Foreign Legion, on that particular Wednesday morning. But Doyle deserved better, and Bodie couldn't possibly be so cruel. Besides, the author of the sequel desperately needed even a tiny sparkle of hope for them.")
