I love stories in which Jim can't stop himself from listening in on Blair. In Wake-keeping by Kass, the eavesdropping is not just erotic, but poignant. Jim hears Blair's vitals go crazy and rushes into his room. Instead of danger, he finds him crying. They each learn something new and important about the other. This is my favorite of the many fine stories Kass has recently posted.[1]
Summary: Jim's got a guilty secret: on nights when Blair is masturbating, he uses his senses to listen in. It's helped him to develop a big ol' longing for Blair, which he keeps to himself. Until he comes home to find Blair crying.Blair reveals that he's heard that his first boyfriend has died, a revelation that opens Jim's eyes and gives him hope, even as he prepares comfort food for Blair: noodles and sympathy.
