Excerpts
When did you enter our fandom?
Well- Just like you- I first watched S&H in 1985-86 - as a teen. And, I'm from Sri Lanka though now I live in the US (since 2002). So once the show was done- that was it! Nothing more. Never heard about the guys - No fan base in Sri Lanka, though for me the show was a life saver! S&H stayed with me through all those years, but I really thought they were not even around anymore- until somewhere in 2009, I think, I saw PMG on one of The Mentalist episodes. I literally screamed "That's Starsky!!!!" //(Sigh!) My husband asked "who the hell is Sarsky?" Anyway- until then it never even occurred to me that I could check them on the internet - So... I didn't actually discover the fandom/fans until 2011.
Is there a better or worse about this?
I love the friendships I have found through this fandom. I hope this would continue... for ever!
