A few words about me: I've been a Rangerphile (a fan of the Disney Afternoon animated series Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers) since its German premiere in 1991. I've been an active member of the fandom since 2006. Even earlier, I started digging into the history of the CDRR fandom. A fandom whose past is well-documented for such a small and obscure fandom that started as early as 1989, even though it didn't have any structures of its own before 1995 and no forum of its own before 1998. A fandom that can still name its three first fanfics and has the two oldest of them preserved.
The results of my research have helped in the making of the Metafic The Rangerillion.
Now I am here to help make the long and rich history of this fandom more easily accessible to the public in a place where people go for fandom history, thereby eliminating the need for archaeological detective work on fansites and forums and hopefully also the rampant prejudices against Rangerphiles. There's more to this fandom than American conservativism and Russian Gadget cultism.
I'm also a Brony (a fan of the animated series My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic which the entire fourth My Little Pony generation from 2010 is based on). I'm not that much of a historian in this rather young fandom, but I sometimes add bits and pieces of information about this fandom which, in spite of its huge size and impact on pop culture, is extremely underrepresented and underdocumented on Fanlore.
