Theoretically, I speak both German and English, but practically, I learned my English via Fanfic and conduct all fandom in it – so if you try to speak German to me, I might very well short-circuit.
I mostly write fanfiction and meta, and occasionally wrangle my hands into producing fanart.
Fannish History
I've been 'in' fandom since about 2011, but remade my fannish Internet-ID in 2018. That is, to give pre-teen me Fandom Witness Protection.
My first fandom was Harry Potter, where I actually produced fic between 2011-2014-ish, which we shall consign to the dominions of sealed records. Then I spent some time shyly hanging around the edges of fandom for SGA, slocky 80s’ slasher flicks, and also Sherlock. This is also the first time I got (or tried to) get into comics, and immediately dropped out again, because even if one is only reading backlog – ‘15/’16 superhero comics weren’t a kind place for teen girls. Then Hannibal happened (to me), where I got stuck. I am currently ‘active’ tentatively there and with The Magnus Archives, but mostly in Rivers of London and the Doctor Strange focused intersection of Marvel Comics and the MCU.
