counteragent has been a media fan all her life. Early fannish activities included writing a shooting script and casting her own production of "Deryni Rising" (by Katherine Kurtz) in 7th grade.

- She found fandom in 2003 during the third season of Alias, when her obsession with that show compelled her to seek out continuation of the source online.

- Since then, she's joined the vidding fandom and was never prouder than when someone offhandedly referred to her as a "vidder" for the first time.

- She joined the Supernatural fandom in 2008, lured in by all its marvelous fanwork.

- counteragent regularly betas for close lj friends, an activity that she finds as rewarding as making her own stuff.

- counteragent is a huge fan of meta and fandom in general.
