This template is used for articles documenting songs which have prevalent use either for a single fandom or have widespread fan use across multiple fan spaces. It can also be used for any songs around which a fandom has formed.

Key

The title field is mandatory, others are recommended and/or optional.

• |title=: The official name of the game. If left blank, the template will use the article title.
• |artist=: The song's artist.
• |album=: The song's album, if any.
• |release date=: The song's release date.
• |activity dates=: The dates when fan activity using the song started or become more prevalent, if unknown or the same as release date, can be left blank.
• |genre=: The song's genre
• |use=: Where the song is used, e.g. in fan vids, TikTok edits, lyrics are used in webweaving, or if people make covers
• |links=: Link/s to the song.
• |related=: Other song pages related to the article's topic
• |seealso=: Other non-song pages related to the article's topic
• |image=: A visual fanwork that demonstrates the article's subject. Only the file name is needed and should be used. The template will truncate [[File:]] and similar markup, and arguments in [[File:]] markup passed to image may result in unexpected behavior.
• |image caption=: A caption for the image. Good information to put here is a short description of the image, title and author information, and so on.
• |image alt text=: Alt text for the image; this should be a description of the image and its contents.
