I entered fandom in early 2002, shortly after the release of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, and very soon began writing fanfic in that universe, having been long familiar with the original books. Later I moved on first to Pirates of the Caribbean and then the Harry Potter books, and am still actively writing in Harry Potter fandom as well as some more minor fandoms.

I have run a small multi-fandom holiday ficlet exchange, 3fan_holidays, at LiveJournal for several years.
