Turnabout Playboy is a digital zine focused on pinups of Phoenix Wright from Ace Attorney.
About
Our stories and art will explore themes of beauty of Phoenix Wright through the trilogy era, the 7 year gap and AA5/6 and PWvsPL series. Examples include art history about beauty, Au about modeling and pieces that deal with aesthetics and pin ups.[1]
The zine first was announced in June 24, 2022, on Twitter [2]. The NSFW zine would be open for any contributors over 18 years old with a planned lineup of 42 contributors. Ships containing Phoenix Wright were allowed[1].
The zine Applications for moderators specializing in graphic design and beta reading were opened on November 4, 2022[3]. Interest checks opened from November 15 to December 10, 2022[4][5]. Contributor forms were opened on December 26, 2022, with no application requirements[6].
Full contributor lineups were announced on February 15, 2023[7][8]. The zine was published via Google Drive link on July 22, 2023[9].
