Author's Comments
I took my one and only trip to Washington state in October 2003. As I was driving throughout the state, Jim and Blair were doing their usual talking in my mind. I kept seeing Blair wanting to show Jim his rear – in a non-sexual way. So, this story came from those musings while trying to focus on the road; though, as is so often the case, the first sequences of the story sat for a long time before I figured out what happens and how to finish it. I’m not sure the “dream” scene works, but I like the rest of it.[1]
