Fandom

Created in early 2000 by two Janeway/Seven fans, DiNovia and Lisaof9. She Who Hesitates is Lost by Lisaof9 is considered the first major story in this pairing (see link below). DiNovia and Lisaof9 also founding the mailing list for this pairing, Voq Je Bang, and at its peak, it boasted 1600 members from 21 countries, and it remained active up until Yahoo discontinued their Groups pages. DiNovia has archived all the data from Voq Je Bang in her personal archive.

Common Tropes in Fanworks

  • Co-Workers: working together to overcome Voyager's many problems, and this leading to a closer relationship
  • Away Missions: B'Elanna and Seven alone together in the shuttle or visiting alien planets
  • Holodeck: them experiencing holodeck simulations together, sometimes those shown in canon or others created by fans
